President Putin instructed to check the reasons for the increased costs of the Central ring

Project construction of the 5th section of the highway A-113 assigned to review

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed to check the validity of the increase of the cost of construction of the Central ring road of Moscow region (TsKAD MO or circular highway A-113).
In the President's instructions on the Kremlin website posted "order of the General Prosecutor of Russia, the Russian investigative Committee and the Russian audit chamber to inspect the observance of Russia's interests when concluding and performing public contracts and the validity of increasing the cost of construction of the Central ring".
The period of performance of the presidential Commission are determined 15th Jan 2019. The heads of the relevant departments Yury Chaika, Alexander Bastrykin and Alexey Kudrin is appointed responsible for the execution of orders.
The construction of the Central ring road (ring road A-113) started in 2014, the length of the route is 530 km. the Original project cost was estimated at ₽300 billion Half of this amount is planned to provide a national welfare Fund.

The main focus for today is the 5th section of the Central ring, is actually a reconstructed "Low road" А107, which expands to 4 lanes with traffic light-less movement organization, including construction of new interchanges.

For the sake of housing (purchase of housing and land would be too expensive), a new route to build from scratch are designed the extension А107 with rounds of settlements. Total length of new roads as part of the 5th section of 28.3 km, the reconstructed is 41.5 km away. Interestingly, this section will be the only free area in all of the CRR, as the legislation prohibits tolls in the absence of alternative free detour.

For today only valid on the site there is a Central ring in the part of the 5th section. This 3.6-mile bypass of Zvenigorod, the movement of which opened in November last year that immediately had a positive effect – significant reduction in transit traffic through the historical center of the city. Improved environment, especially with the removal of city trucks that were a bad influence on the condition of historic buildings and attractions.
