It is interesting that this motorway is planned to include in the comprehensive plan development of trunk infrastructure of Russia as part of international transport corridor (ITC) Europe–Western China (EZK), the so-called "New silk road", which should shorten the route from China to Europe with 1.5–2 months (seas and oceans) to only one decade on the road.Very interesting graph that compares the pace of construction of highways in a number of countries up to 2005 (road green color) and 2005-2015 (road red color)
Russia on the above chart looks just like the desert (but road construction, at least has moved forward after 2005), while USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, France and Japan its transportation arteries were built long before the end of the twentieth century North America, primarily in the 1930-60's, Western Europe – in 1930-70-ies, and Japan and South Korea in 1970-90-s. Meanwhile, impressive growth from the network of main highways in mainland China in the XXI century, and overtake on this indicator, obviously, forever – USA! And it's still a "developing" country? The chart also very clearly shows the major areas of concentration of population and the location of economic centers in each country.
