Volkswagen Teramont – soon in Russia

The new crossover Volkswagen will appear in the domestic market in early 2018

Large crossover from the German brand Volkswagen Teramont in the near future it will be possible to buy in Russia. By the end of this year, will begin taking orders for the car, and the first customers will get the car in the spring of 2018. American Volkswagen Teramont/Atlas is equipped with a gasoline engine: R4 2,0 l turbo 235 HP or the 3.6-liter VR6 with a capacity of 276 HP engines are Aggregated only 8-speed automatic transmission. In the US the car is available in versions with front-wheel drive. The equipment list is quite large and includes, depending on the configuration, led headlamps, adaptive cruise control, fully digital dashboard, heated seats, camera circular review, the large touch screen display and driver assistance system. The latter include, inter alia, the system of emergency braking, monitoring blind spot monitoring and a lane.

As standard the Volkswagen Atlas comes with 18-inch wheels, "shod" in the tire dimensions 245/60 R18. In the configuration of the SEL Premium the car is standard installed 20-inch wheels. But what is most pleasant for the Russian consumer, so it is the parameters of the geometric cross-clearance of 203 mm, the angles of entry and exit of 20.4 and 22.2 degrees, respectively. 

Luggage capacity 7-seat version is 585 L. If you fold the third row of seats, you can get the amount of 1572 years, but suddenly this is not enough, after folding the second and third rows for loading will be available 2741 (!) L. In such volumes it is impossible not to fall in love. That is why Volkswagen Teramont just have to be on the domestic market.

Representatives of Volkswagen did not specify what engines will be equipped with Russian Teramont, but there is speculation that the engine range will not differ from the American Atlas. In addition, the local roads will only see four-wheel drive version of the car. Recall that Volkswagen is going Teramont/Atlas on the VW factories in USA and China.
