Production of electric crossover will begin in 2020
Six months ago, Volkswagen showed conceptual crossover Volkswagen electric I. D. Crozz. Especially for the motor show IAA in 2017 was prepared and its updated version — Crozz I. D. II.
Visually, the novelty is almost no different from its predecessor. But if you look closely, you can find the differences and in addition to the new colors and the other 21-domovyh wheels. The exterior became more elaborate: the increased number of podshtampovkami and small parts. But the overall dimensions of the body haven't changed, length is 4625 mm. At this setting, the concept is somewhere between normal and long-wheelbase "Tiguana".
The focus of the designers of this time was devoted to the salon. Intererst set four individual seats. In General the interior turned out to be surprisingly succinct: there are no huge tablets and other "futurismo". Center front panel is quite ordinary now a 10.2-inch display.
From a technical point of view the second version I. D. Volkswagen Crozz does not differ from the first. The car is built on a promising platform MEB, which will be used on many electric models of the concern. Crossover received a 102-horsepower front motor and a 204-horsepower rear. Despite the impressive power, speed limited at around 180 km/h. Also in I. D. Crozz II is equipped with a battery capacity of 83 kWh, which allows you to travel up to 500 miles between charges.
It is expected that is made in the style I. D. Volkswagen Crozz serial electric crossover will be available in 2020. Later under the sub-brand I. D., will begin production of the platform of the hatchback.
