We have already had the opportunity to study the appearance of the future crossover SUV Nissan Terra in December, a global network leaked the first spy shots of the undisguised prototypes. The official presentation of the new arrivals identified at the international motor show in Beijing which will open in April, but the Japanese company decided to publish the first information now.

As we have already seen this car before, his appearance was not a surprise, and it is made in a conservative style. The exterior lacks any striking features. Inside the novelty is not different from pickup Nissan Navara. Judging by the first photos, you're missing a small compartment for coins, mounted in the center of the front panel.

The similarity with the "Navara" is not accidental: it is at its base built a new SUV. Here we have used the same frame, and the suspension will probably be reconfigured with the aim of increasing comfort. The manufacturer does not hurry to disclose the technical specifications.

Most likely, Nissan Terra will be installed the same engines as on the sister truck. In particular, we are talking about the 2.3-liter "diesel" series dCi. For "Navara" he develops 163 or 190 horsepower depending on the version. Most likely, for the Chinese market will be retained a 184-horsepower 2.5-liter gasoline engine. The powertrain will also be borrowed from the truck: it is a six-speed "mechanics" or "automatic" with seven speeds.

First time Nissan Terra will be sold only in China, where it will be produced. A little later, the SUV, which can be considered a true successor to the Nissan Pathfinder last generation (the new Pathfinder has become a SUV), will start to conquer other markets. Output in Russia is still a big question.
