In Petersburg to route out the buses

Take a ride on a new form of transport for 23 route

In St. Petersburg is not the first year is the test operation of the buses. Now to work out the first models with dynamic charging. They will run on 23 routes.

Manufacturer of new buses was the company "Trolza" from the city of Engels (Saratov region). She's since the middle of last century, produces electric public transport. The first trolley was released here in 1951. For many years the manufacturer has a dominant position on the market: it accounts for about 75% of the supply trolley.

The new model is not a bus in the traditional sense of the word, since its functioning requires dynamic charging. Lithium-ion battery production "Liotech" have a relatively modest capacity, which provides only 12-15 kilometers of Autonomous run. Thus, part of the route the bus should be fed from the contact network.

In St. Petersburg electrobus "Trolza" will follow on a stand during the route from the Shuvalovsky Prospekt to Gakkelevskaya of the street, then go to network and go to the metro station "civic Avenue" and further, to the terminal station "Street shavrova".

The first buses are already out on the line. In the total of "Trolza" put in St.-Petersburg 115 electric bus with dynamic recharging. It is expected that soon a new form of transport will also appear in the Tula and Nalchik. "Trolza" delivers its products and abroad: the buses already operating in Argentina.
