A cruising range of up to 300 kilometers

At the meeting in Moscow exhibition "Transport of Russia" was presented to the new bus received the "Sitaram-12E" from Volgabus. Expected date of commissioning not yet reported.

Model "Sitaram-12E" received the transport vehicle type approval (type Approval vehicle) a year ago. Previously it was assumed that it will be as unified with diesel buses. However, the new model, presented at "Transport of Russia", differs quite significantly from other versions of the series "Sitaram-12".

From a technical point of view "Sitaram-12E" is also original, and it differs not only from the diesel analogue, and the electric competitors. But since the "Sitaram-12E" is a low-floor model, to integrate all of the battery needed to lift chairs, which were placed on the special podium.

The developers estimate the power reserve of new items is 300 kilometers. This is an optimistic scenario, which does not account for the costs of operation of the climate system. By the way, it is fully electric, which also highlights the novelty of the competition is typically installed in the electrical buses of the heating system operating on the fuel. A more realistic assessment of the range of mileage without additional charges of 200 kilometers. Electric bus can accommodate 90 passengers. There are a total of 28 seats.
