It seems that the electric cars in retro style will soon become a trend. We recently talked about the MINI Electric, made in the back of classic trehdverki, now something similar is introduced, the Czech company MW Motors. The appearance of new items is also eerily familiar, but this car has no real ancestor.

Model Luka clearly plays on nostalgic feelings. The exteriors see the features of a number of European models in the 60-ies. For example, back borrowed from the Aston Martin DB4, in an unusual design of the front arches read Mercedes-Benz 190 SL and the front is a collective image.

New has the aluminum chassis, so it weighs 815 kg. However, the MW power Motors Luka is very modest: the car received four motor for 17 horse power, built-in wheels. The company's hundreds of times demonstrated similar concepts, but Luka is supposedly "the first production car with in-wheel motors".

With a total return of 68 horsepower electric coupe is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.3 seconds. The maximum speed of 146 km/h Built-in battery with a capacity of 21.9 kWh allows you to travel up to 300 miles on a single charge. MW Motors engineers working on the system, which will allow you to refill the energy with 0 to 80% in one hour.

Although the manufacturer calls Luka a production model, its development is not finished yet. Ahead of unusual electric models safety test. About expected prices and pressings manufacturer is silent.
