The Volkswagen group has officially presented a compact crossover

The German company held the official presentation of the new compact crossover Volkswagen T-Roc. In the latter it is easy to see the eponymous concept crossover German brand. The car is built on a platform MQB, known in other models of the concern.

The serial version of the T-Roc a bright appearance – a three-dimensional grille, fancy headlamps, sculptured side panel. In contrast to the concept's fog lights are located separately downstairs. Despite the fact that donor for a compact crossover made the Volkswagen Golf, the design of the exterior T-Roc progressive hatchback. In addition, T-Roc will get a two-tone color.

In the line of the brand size T-Roc stood a step below Volkswagen Tiguan, dimensions of novelty: 4234х1819х1573 mm, and a wheelbase of 2603 mm, 31 mm shorter than the Golf. Trunk volume crossover 445 liters when folded seats – 1290 L.

The interior of the compact crossover in the style of the new Volkswagen – colorful insert in the dashboard in the body color, the same inserts in the seat trim and door cards, and a digital instrument cluster, very similar to that in Skoda Karoq.

The driver has an opportunity to choose the type of display devices on the dashboard until the output of the navigation map. Instrument panel mounted 6.5-inch touchscreen media system. Top configuration is equipped with a 8.0-inch screen and interfaces Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

While there are two basic variants of execution – Style and Sport in 2018, a year will be a sporty version of the R-Line. In the list of basic equipment Volkswagen T-Roc includes a control system for a lane, automatic braking and other "assistants" of the driver. In the list of options compact crossover included climate control, rear view camera, push button engine start and much more.

For Volkswagen T-Roc, the German manufacturer prepared six engines – three petrol and three diesel engines. All units are well-known for the Volkswagen group: a 1.0 TSI petrol (115 HP), a 1.5 TSI (150 HP) 2.0 TSI (190 HP) and diesel 1,6 TDI (115 HP) 2.0 TDI and options 150 or 190 HP Engines agregation with a manual transmission or "robot" DSG.
