Concept-i Ride and Concept-i Walk portend a new era of urban mobility
At the beginning of 2017 year the consumer electronics show CES 2017 appeared show car Toyota Concept-i. It was drawn in the California Studio of "Toyota" and had artificial intelligence. Now the designers of the Japanese company unveiled two new concept of the same series.
The first of these is the Concept-i Ride. The dimensions of this futuristic city car is somewhere between the Smart Fortwo and the Renault Twizy. The new door type "gull wing", and the key management body is the joystick. In the interior of the Concept-i Ride has two seats. One of them is able to drive back to make room for a wheelchair.
As previously presented Concept-i, the novelty is endowed with artificial intelligence. It aims not only to increase safety on the road (a fully Autonomous control system), but and to cheer the passengers. The exact specifications are kept in secret. It is only known that the reserve is 100-150 kilometers.
The second concept — Concept-i Walk. It is a compact vehicle, similar to seguem. In it uses three small wheels. As in traditional gyrometer, the movement direction is set by moving the center of gravity. On a full charge Concept-i Walk is able to travel about 10-20 miles.
Concept-i Ride and Concept-i Walk will be presented on the Tokyo motor show, which opens on 25 October.
