Toyota recently announced the creation of the units GR, which will produce special sporting models. The new brand has prepared an interesting concept Toyota GR HV Sports, which will premiere in late October at the Tokyo motor show.

Front sports Dogdore looks unusual. According to designers ' idea, it should resemble a sports car Toyota TS050 Hybrid, designed for "the 24 hours of Le Mans." The similarity really is, what at least is the nose. Lights are almost copy racing hybrid: here, too, they consist of two led horizontal sections and three vertical.

If you look at the Toyota GR HV Sports profile, it will be immediately obvious that the car is built on the basis coupe Toyota GT 86. From serial model is the design of the front end and feed, as well as other the form factor of the body. Novelty is equipped with a removable roof, but it's not a coupe, a Targa (the key differences are the rear rack saved the roof).

The interior of the concept is also borrowed from the serial "Toyota", but the filling here is somewhat different. First, the example of the Toyota TS050 Hybrid car was a hybrid. Engineers have installed a traction battery somewhere in the middle of the floor, so as not to disturb the weight distribution and not to spoil a pleasant handling. Specifications are kept secret.

Second, the Toyota GR HV Sports was developed by an unusual automatic transmission. It is able to simulate the "mechanics", what to shift, you can use the usual lever with H-shaped moves.

Rumor has it that Toyota GR HV Sports can be a precursor of the second generation Toyota GT 86. When you consider that sales of the coupe began in 2012, the Japanese company is probably already working on his replacement.
