Recently been announced crossover Skoda Kodiaq RS with a 240-horsepower diesel engine, now the Czech brand presented another "sportivanya" version — Kodiaq GT. What is it different from Kodiaq RS?

In fact, it's simple. Although between the RS and GT are confused, in fact is not difficult the two models to distinguish. The thing is that Kodiaq RS is the most powerful version Kodiaq and Kodiaq GT is another model. It is distinguished by the shape of the body: the back is decorated in the style of a coupé.

Simply put, the difference between Kodiaq and Kodiaq GT is the same as between the BMW X5 and BMW X6. The company's designers cut the trunk, making the roof more sloping and filled up the rear roof pillar forward. Plus, the body was shortened by 63 mm (up to 4 634 mm). It was also required to do new lights and bumper.

From a technical point of view differences from a regular GT Kodiaq "Kodiak" no. The car will be sold with two-liter gasoline turbo engine, available in versions with a capacity of 186 and 220 horsepower. A seven-step "robot" DSG not provided alternatives, but the actuator you can choose: front or full.

It is noteworthy that the Skoda Kodiaq GT is presented only for the China market. In China, the novelty will be available before the end of 2018. Currently, China is the only market for sports-crossover.
