At Goodwood, Rolls-Royce has revealed a special black convertible version of Dawn
The beginning of the Festival of speed 2017 at Goodwood rich with bright exclusive model. One of them is the Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge – a special version from a British company, reminds us of black as the color of prestige. The stylists did a good job on the appearance of Dawn Black Badge (perhaps even enthusiastic) – in fact black, in addition to the bodywork, even painted the "Spirit of ecstasy" statuette unchanged over the radiator grille.
In addition, some exterior details, Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge – grille, air intakes and fittings – plated black chrome. On the surface was applied a few coats of paint and varnish, after which all were polished manually very carefully. Due to this the car received the most deep black color.
The mesh top also available in black color only. And in all this black "Dawn" only the letters of the logo "RR" have undergone colour inversion, becoming white. Interestingly, the wheels also did not touch, leaving a silver.
Following the philosophy of Henry Royce "to develop something that does not exist", the developers of the Rolls-Royce Badge Black Dawn has created a truly unique interior, using the interior trim material used in aircraft technology "stealth" - a subtle hint at the aviation heritage of the brand. The dashboard is made of carbon fiber reinforced aluminum thread with a diameter of 0.014 mm. Surface coated 6 layers of lacquer and polished by hand to a mirror Shine.
To emphasize the blackness of the interior, in some places added a contrasting bright orange insert.
Special model Dawn Black Badge fitted with a 6.6-liter V12 with a capacity of 601 HP and 840 ΜM N∙m – more 30 HP and 20 nm compared to the standard convertible Dawn. However, it is not the most powerful black rolls.
Recall, Ghost Black Badge produces 611 HP and Wraith Black Badge – 632 HP in Addition to the engine, British engineers carefully "walked" around the car, because the suspension, gearbox, steering and throttle work a little differently.
Increasing the power did not forget to improve the brakes by putting the brake discs enlarged diameter. And for fans to listen to the Symphony of the V12 installed a custom exhaust system. Orders for Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge already accepted, but the price is not yet known.
