Prices on the most popular Japanese pick-up will begin with 2.07 million rubles

The official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Russia – OOO "MMC Rus" was held the evening of February 20 in the hall of the "Boiler" on the territory of the art-Park "Bakery" the presentation of one of the most popular pickups in Russia – Mitsubishi L200. In 2018 in our country has sold 2958 units new pickups this model (growth in 2,4 times at the data, LLC "AUTOSTAT info") and notice that this is the model of the previous sample), but for the pickup segment, the figure is quite solid – a confident first place. Updated pickup appeared in Thailand the last year and for the Russian market presentation was held, and promised to the final press conference MMC in late February.

According to the head of OOO "MMC Rus", the pickup in different countries carries different names: Strada, Triton and L200, but in Russia, it was always only sold as L200. Moreover, this model of the words of the representative of the company was the first in the segment of modern pickups in Russia in fact to form it to our country.

If the previous model was criticized because of too inexpressive design, recognizing that it's a very competitive characteristics, the current model transfigured: X-shaped pattern bumper and narrow strips of the headlights, and also a raised hood line, so transformed the pickup truck that it is quite possible to be perfect, new, and not deeply restyled model.

Even changed the design of the rear part of the platform, the rear lights and wheel arches, that is certainly not often. They look more angular and at this body has a 15 mm deeper still. In salon the first differences a bit, but they are still there (heated steering wheel, 2-zone automatic climate control, USB port, additional niche for mobile phone), also the dashboard was removed already unfashionable display for demonstration of the operation modes of all-wheel drive powertrain.

The emphasis in the technical changes made to the latest 6-speed "machine", replaced the outdated 5-speed predecessor, which should increase the efficiency of the pickup. In addition, the increased diameter brake discs, new shock absorbers, and important –  15 mm (up to 220 mm) for increased ground clearance and angles of entry and Congress to 31° and 29°, respectively. I.e. improved accessibility of a pickup in combined with the famous four-wheel drive transmission Super Select 4WD-II, gives the L200 one of the highest levels of obstruction in the segment serial pickups.

The engine on the new L200 also 2.4-litre diesel, available in iterations 154 HP and 380 N·m, and 181 HP and 430 N·m.

The price tag on the new L200 starts with ₽2 million 69 thousand for the basic version 2.4 DID Ivite MT (m / t) to 2 million 702 thousand for the top version 2.4 DID Instyle AT.
