The new car will compete in the world championship FIA WEC, that is the world Cup

The new BR1 race car was developed by the Russian company BR Engineering together with Italian automaker Dallara. In the heart of the car is a monocoque carbon fiber. The manufacturer uses a 720-HP engine twin turbo AER V6 and six-speed robotic transmission Xtrac-drive rear axle. Also fitted with carbon fiber Brembo brakes, LMP1.

Up to this point, the prototype BR1 passed all the necessary tests and homologation by the FIA, as well as a number of tests on race tracks with the participation of SMP Racing pilots. "Combat" debut of new model will be in the next "superstore" 2018-2019, which will last a year and a half. Team SMP Racing, also owned by Boris Rotenberg, is intended to act at once with two Russian crews in the top category LMP1 sports prototype.
