Infiniti calls the new
its the most advanced car
Just two days ago we discussed the last teaser future Infiniti models, the QX50, and now the manufacturer has released the first full and the new arrivals.
Wait for the car had for a really long time, because the previous model stood
on the conveyor in the distant 2007. As expected, the next generation Infiniti QX50
will differ significantly from its predecessor.
A new crossover made in the spirit of the concept of the Infiniti QX Sport Inspiration and the ensuing Infiniti QX50 Concept. The car fits into the current lineup of the Japanese company. Due to the use of the curved rear of the roof rack Infiniti QX50 resembles a larger model QX60, which has a seven-seat interior.
Infiniti QX50 calls its most advanced car. A key innovation will be a two-liter gasoline turbo engine with a unique system to change the compression ratio. This parameter is fixed in a conventional engine, since it determines the ratio of the full volume of the cylinder to the volume of the combustion chamber. The new engine VC-Turbo instead of the conventional connecting rod would apply the leverage that will allow the move to change the compression ratio from 8:1 to 14:1. This will increase efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. The recoil will be about
270 horsepower and 390 N·m. Likely for the Infiniti QX50 will be available only one transmission option is the CVT.
A full presentation of the Infiniti QX50 will be held next week: the car will become a member of the International motor show in Los Angeles.
