Volvo announced the creation of a new brand in the segment of electric vehicles

Volvo Cars is a manufacturer of premium cars, has announced that Polestar, its "court" tuning and Motorsport team, will now become an independent brand at the production of high-performance electric cars to release Volvo Car Group on a new stage of transformation of the entire production.

The first step in creating a new brand was the appointment of Thomas Ingenlath, senior Vice President for the Volvo design, on the chief Executive officer at Polestar.
