Voiced price Genesis G70 for Russia

Last fall was presented sedan Genesis G70. It is a Junior model young premium brand Genesis, which is a subsidiary brand of Hyundai. Now the company announced the price new for Russia.

Genesis G70 will cost a minimum of 1 949 000 rubles. In the same amount will cost sedan with 197-horsepower two-liter gasoline turbo engine. The car is equipped with a proprietary eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

Standard Premier includes electrically adjustable driver seat, multimedia system with eight-inch touchscreen display and six speakers, rear view camera with dynamic markings, Parking sensors, 18-inch alloy wheels, active noise control and electric trunk.

Also Genesis G70 can be enjoyed in the Elegance trim (1 999 000 rubles), Advance (2 249 000), Supreme (2 709 000) and Sport (2 899 000 rubles). It is noteworthy that starting with version Advance becomes affordable and more powerful 247-horsepower engine. However, the "hardware" for sure it's the same motor, especially because in both cases, the torque reaches a peak of 353 Newton meters.

In nature, there are also versions of the G70 with the V6 Lambda II T-GDI with a volume of 3.3 litres (370 HP and 510 N∙m) and a 2.2-litre VGT turbodiesel, issuing a 202 HP and 441 nm, but to us they would not ship.

Genesis G70 is positioned as a premium sedan of D-class. Its main competitors should be Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Jaguar XE, Volvo S60 and Infiniti Q50. Thus a high probability that buyers will be more likely to choose between the Genesis and the platform G70 Kia Stinger. Yeah, the second model does not wear a premium badge, but it is slightly larger. The cost of the two South Korean cars are comparable.
