In 2018 it will begin selling the next-generation van Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, as long as the manufacturer teases the audience with the first sketches. If they believe the car will be significantly different from the current model.

The teaser cannot be called sensational, because the picture of the van does not differ almost from last year's concept Vision Van. One of its distinguishing features was a large front grille with integrated led matrix and generating different pictures and thus communicating with the outside world.

Mercedes-Benz Vision Van was a fully electric car. It was equipped with a 102-horsepower electric motor that can double the impact by one minute (so-called mode overboost). The range was 270 miles. Everything goes to the fact that the next generation Sprinter will still get this version though will be available and more familiar vans running on gasoline or diesel fuel.

But that is unlikely to appear in the "Sprinter", it's a drone that allows you to deliver small parcels. The concept was used copter American company Matternet with a range of up to 20 kilometers.

The current generation of the van Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is from 2006, and in 2013 produced a significant cosmetic upgrade. The van was created in partnership with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, however, the future the Sprinter will not have common roots with the "Volkswagen".
