The crossover will be even more affordable than anticipated

Last fall was announced the Russian prices for Skoda Kodiaq. Seven-seat crossover is at least two million rubles. But there is one caveat: these prices are valid for cars assembled in the Czech Republic and in Russia, the copies were supposed to be cheaper. There were rumors that the localization will reduce the entry threshold to 1.5 million rubles, although not all believed. But the reality was even better: Skoda Kodiaq Russian Assembly will cost 1 339 000 rubles!

Kodiaq in the "base" will have 1.4-liter turbo TSI series with a power of 125 horsepower, manual transmission and front-wheel drive. It is noteworthy that even the smaller Volkswagen Tiguan with the same power unit is 10,000 rubles more.

Prices for the new Skoda Kodiaq are still kept secret. They are expected to be released in late April, in anticipation of the beginning of sales of "Russian" machines. It is expected that in addition to the most affordable car with a 125 HP engine it will be possible to choose the version with the engine 1.4 TSI (150 HP) 2.0 TSI (180 HP) and 2.0 TDI (150 HP). Also customers will be able to stay on the options with robotized transmission DSG and all-wheel drive.

Meanwhile, the plant in Nizhny Novgorod already in full rivet Skoda Kodiaq: the first copies was released in February.
