In Detroit, Porsche has introduced a new family 911 Carrera GTS

In the first of the press days of the Detroit auto show, the Porsche company has presented the so-called second generation of "intermediate" family 911 Carrera GTS seventh-generation (type 991.2), and model GTS last of the "civilian" versions of the 991, the family moved to the turbo engine.

As before, the GTS version will be offered in multiple body versions, and in addition to the usual coupe and convertible from now on you may choose and stylish version of the classic Targa with a black arc safety, and with the AWD versions, the total number of options reaches five, since 911 Targa 4 GTS will be only all-wheel drive.

By the way, the black color can be considered a brand for the GTS – in addition to the original wheels with a diameter of 20 inches of blackened exhaust pipes and tinted rear lights black color used in the interior is anodized aluminum center console and expensive black Alcantara, which covered seats and steering wheel.

New generation 6-cylinder boxer engines Porsche 3.0 liter is equipped with system of direct injection and two turbochargers and develops for a new family GTS 450 HP and 550 nm (the former aspirated motor, these figures were 430 HP and 440 N∙m). The choice of gearboxes is the same – or 7-speed manual gearbox or double clutch branded "robot" PDK dual clutch.

By the way, all versions of GTS are easily distinguished by their extended rear with larger rear wings (rear track increased by 44mm), as the all-wheel drive versions and front – modified for increased dual intakes.

The dynamic characteristics of a new family of GTS are approximately in the middle between the base Carrera and the top version Turbo – in the case of rear-wheel drive coupe Carrera GTS with PDK is the maximum speed of 312 km/h and acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.

Traditionally, Porsche prices for a novelty, including on the Russian market, announced at the time of the world premiere – we have a "basic" Carrera GTS coupé and manual transmission is from 7 739 000 rubles, version with PDK is a bit more expensive, ranging from 8 040 504 of the ruble, but the stylish all-wheel drive version of the 911 Targa 4 GTS is for 8 827 000.
