The production of a restyled version will begin in August

One of the most long-awaited novelties of the domestic market in 2018 was to be a new "Grant", yet this car is one of the bestsellers in Russia. The full premiere of "Grants-2" will take place at the Moscow motor show, which is traditionally held in August, but "AVTOVAZ" has published the first photos.

New "Grant" received a new corporate style, which originally debuted on the "West". Front appeared the famous "x-face", so when a glimpse of the "Grant" now you can even be confused with the "message". Changed all front elements: hood, headlights, bumper and fenders.

But on the sides of the "Grants" does not appear podshtampovki in the style of "Vesta". Most likely, the old door has been saved for the sake of economy: still we are talking about the budget car company, so every ruble counts.

The rear part of the sedan have changed, but not as noticeable as the front. Designers have created a new trunk lid, which lost often criticized podstanovok, but probret a small raised spoiler and the ground under the license plate. Also changed the rear bumper. Among the less visible parts of the representatives of "AVTOVAZ" drew attention to the new wheels, and updated the logo with outspread sail.

Pictures of interior are still kept secret. Likely the interior will be borrowed from "Kalina-2". Speaking of her, very soon, "Kalina" will be a part of history. In fact, the separation range of the "Grant" and "Kalina-2" was originally artificial: both built on the platform of the first "Kalina" and differ basically only positioning and body types. Soon the family "Kalina" will be completely closed, but "Grant" will be available in hatchback, wagon and cross-universal.

Technical innovations in the "Grant-2" (although the manufacturer continues to call it simply "Grantee" because it is only a facelift) is not provided. But the first car among the models of Lada will get the support system Lada Connect. It will allow your smartphone to start the engine, turn on lights, monitor the location and condition of the car. A little later a similar feature will be offered for other machines.

Other details about the updated "Grant" will be announced at the International motor show in Moscow, which will open in August. In the same month, will begin serial production of the updated Lada Granta family.
