The Association of carriers of Russia became a foreign agent

From 1 December 2017, "Union of carriers of Russia" entered in the register of foreign agents.

As stated in site the Ministry of justice of the Russian Federation, "the fact of compliance of the organization signs a non-commercial organization performing functions of a foreign agent installed in the course of conducting the Ministry of justice of the Russian Federation unscheduled documentary inspection."

According to the "Association of carriers of Russia", the decision of justice was made on the basis of donations from individuals totaling 247 000. They were introduced in June as a fundraiser for the holding of a motor rally from Moscow to Vladivostok.

Non-profit organization of truckers was created in the aftermath of the end of 2015, mass rallies because of the introduction of the "Plato". In some regions of Russia truckers staged a strike and organized Parking along the trails.

"Platon" is the Russian system of charging freight vehicles whose permissible maximum mass exceeds 12 tonnes. The system was commissioned on 15 November
2015.
