In 2012 he released the fourth generation Nissan Pathfinder, which literally ruined the entire past history of the family: to replace the utilitarian SUV came to a big SUV, which has not been associated with the "search path" (this is translated model name). A few years ago began to appear the rumors about the preparation of such a machine, which is supposedly intended to build on the platform of a pickup Nissan Navara. Now there is finally a quality spy photos of this model.

The novelty will be named the Nissan Terra. Earlier in history the Japanese company already had a model Xterra, which, by and large, were slightly smaller version of the Navara. Also, all known Nissan Terrano, sibling Renault Duster. But Terra appears in the lineup of Nissan for the first time.

One glance is enough to confirm that the new SUV is actually built on the Nissan Navara. Such conclusions can be drawn from the typical design front (though Terra still got some differences) and a solid suspension. Nissan Terra will borrow the truck frame and powertrain. According to the same recipe were made and the old Pathfinder.

According to the Chinese source, and published these pictures in Terra Navara will be applied 184-horsepower 2.5-liter gasoline engine. Also customers will be able to choose the 2.3-liter dCi torroidal presented in two degrees of force: 158 and 187 HP. Probably, the powertrain will also be borrowed from the truck: it is a six-speed "mechanics" or "automatic" with seven speeds.

The official debut Navara Terra to be held at the International motor show in Beijing, which will be held in the spring of 2018. Most likely, China will become one of the key markets, there's also the novelty will be produced. About the prospect of SUV in Russia so far, however, no localized Assembly it is unlikely that the manufacturer will decide brings it to our market.
