Audi has prepared for launch on 7 March, the Geneva motor show, the updated Audi RS3 Sportback hatchback designed primarily for the European market. The same technical component is the sedan debuted last fall in Paris, and, finally, the turn before the premiere version of the RS3 Sportback.

The new RS3 Sportback, at least for the moment, became the most mass produced "hot hatch" in the world, with acceleration to 100 km/h takes just 4.1 s, and the triggering of the speed limiter standard for German cars to 250 km/h is possible with extra charge to be raised to 280 km/h on high speed is not intended tires Pirelli P Zero dimensions 235/35 R19. All-wheel drive transmission quattro with "Halderson" and 7-step "robot" DSG DQ500 iteration uncontested.

The changes affected not only the appearance (a new Z-shaped led headlights, grille and bumpers) and interior (new sport seats, steering wheel, more modern media system and optional LCD instrument panel) – thoroughly revised and engine. In fact, it is the new powertrain, which was first introduced on the model of the TT RS and RS3 of the old motor were only the displacement and configuration (still 2.5 l and row "five", which has become in recent decades one of the symbols of the brand Audi).

The motor now has a new cylinder block and crankcase made of magnesium and aluminum alloys, new turbo with a boost pressure of 2.35 bar and a upgraded air cooler, which allowed to shoot with a new light-weight (minus 26 kg) motor record for a segment of 400 HP and 480 nm (for comparison, the Mercedes-AMG A45 4Matic is 381 HP and 475 nm, acceleration to "hundreds" of 4,2 C, and BMW xDrive M140 – 340 HP and 500 nm and 100 km/h in 4.4 s).

Surcharge for the upgraded RS3 offers lightweight carbon-ceramic brake discs with a diameter of 370 mm front and 310 mm rear and mechatronic chassis with an electronically shock absorbers and sports suspension, lowered by 25 mm against the base A3, the extra cost is not necessary.

In Germany the price of the hatchback is already known – from 54 € 600, orders will start to take from April 2017, and Russia – around the middle of the summer. Prices in Germany are higher than the nearest competitor – most likely, it will be so in Russia.
