In Stuttgart, the presentation of the new generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The car received a fresh appearance, new versions and the latest equipment.

Inside or out in the "Sprinter", an obvious borrowing from the passenger line of the German manufacturer. The front grille became more and headlamps with led running lamps are now installed horizontally.

Due to the presence of two color screen, one of which is touch, the Sprinter is also reminiscent of the cars "Mercedes". The wheel here is from the fresh E-Class: the spokes are the same touch-panel. The overall picture is complemented by air vents "turbine" type. However, in the basic versions of a touch display will be a huge cap made of grey matte plastic, and it-that certainly can not be called design sophistication.

The platform was slightly modernized. All versions of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter received a slightly longer wheelbase. In addition, the increased number of modifications with different types of the body, length and height resulting in a total of 1 700 combinations. The full weight of the older version is 5 500 kg, 500 kg more than its predecessor.

The main novelty will be the front-wheel modification: the earlier these "Sprinters" does not exist. It will feature increased by 50 kg load capacity and reduced by 80 mm loading height. For these versions will be offered "automatic" with nine-speed and six-speed "mechanics". Practically all vehicles will use a diesel engine capacity of 2.1 liters in varying degrees of force (from 114 to 177 horsepower).

Excluding taxes basic Mercedes-Benz Sprinter in Germany will cost €19 990. First deliveries are scheduled for early summer.
