In 2004 came the Mercedes-Benz CLS, which became the world's first "four-door coupe".
At the motor show in Los Angeles, the German company presented the third generation CLS.

The car remained true to tradition. Mercedes-Benz CLS has maintained a recognizable profile with low sloping planted roof. Doors are still deprived of the framework. But the front and back of the sedan noticeably changed. Most likely, this new style will soon migrate to other models of the company: the prototypes of the CLA and A-Class showed a similar design of the front end.

In the interior of the CLS is not so easy to distinguish from the fresh coupe E-Class, with which it also shares a platform. But the filling here the most advanced. Currently announced diesel versions of the CLS 350d 4MATIC (286 HP and 600 N·m) and 400d CLS 4MATIC (340 HP and 700 N·m) and one petrol — CLS 450 4MATIC (370 HP and 500 N·m). All the new engines: "diesel" OM 656 and six-cylinder units M 256, running on gasoline, only just debuted at the updated S-Class.

400d CLS 4MATIC notable for the use of motor with the function of EQ Boost is able to add 22 "of electrolade" during spirited acceleration. He answers
for the energy recovery during braking.

Mercedes-Benz CLS will go on sale in 2018. The beginning of deliveries to Russia scheduled
for the summer.
