Kia Motors Rus has published pictures of the new Kia Rio for the Russian market

Finally, we can see official images of the Kia Rio the new generation for the domestic market. The drawings are certainly not live photos, but the General stylistic solutions can be seen. So, for example, we can see that the rear of the new Rio will be similar to the Chinese version of the car called the K2. At the same time the front end is a purely European approach in design.

Representatives of the company was limited, unfortunately, only sketches of the new Kia Rio. About the technical characteristics while there is no official information, but with a probability of 100% can be argued that the new Rio will be powered by the same engines as the Hyundai Solaris platform last generation, and this is two petrol engine volume 1.4 liters (100 HP) or 1.6 l (123 HP) to choose from. Transmission – 6-speed manual or 6-speed "automatic".

To quote the official press release Kia Motors Rus, is dedicated to the published sketches: "the Fourth generation KIA Rio for the Russian market will be quite different from its predecessor, in terms of style. This brand new, modern and even futuristic in some angles of the car. Expressive lines, the rapid silhouette with an elongated bonnet, unusual for this segment of the design decisions form a prestigious and memorable way."

Kia Rio new generation for Russia will be manufactured at the plant "Hyundai Motor manufacturing Rus" in Saint-Petersburg. Also, representatives of Kia in Russia, said that the start of sales of the new Kia Rio is scheduled for the third quarter of this year.
