New flagship crossover BMW X7 will soon get to Russia

Until now the older models in the BMW crossover lineup were a couple of X5-X6, which are in essence the same car, but with a slightly different design. While the Bavarian company could not do anything to oppose any of the larger Audi Q7 (and now Audi Q8), nor even a large SUV Mercedes-Benz GLS. Only now the German brand introduced a new flagship crossover BMW X7, about for a long time there were rumors.

It is noteworthy that the new product was even slightly larger Mercedes-Benz GLS: body length 5 151 mm for the X7 vs 5130 mm from a competitor. Moreover, the new "off-road seven" in the wheelbase is even superior to "seven passenger" (i.e. sedan BMW 7 Series), though crossovers usually lag behind on this parameter.

Visually, the BMW X7 unveiled the next iteration of the development of corporate design BMW: some elements meet for the first time, but does not cause surprise. The headlights have become thinner, the nostrils even more.

Inside the flagship, much borrowed from the BMW X5, which was updated recently. In this three-row interior is included in the basic equipment. On the second row can be installed as a normal three seater sofa and two separate chairs.

Plus, the BMW X7 will be richer features. Even in the most basic version of the car will get four-zone climate control, panoramic roof and led headlights (blocks with distant laser light are available for a surcharge).

But on a technical stuffing were no surprises. The BMW X7 will be available in diesel version xDrive30d (265 HP) and the M50d (400 HP) and petrol xDrive40i (340 HP) and xDrive50i (462 HP). Under the hood, the flagship of the crossover would look great V12, which is also a distinctive feature of the older versions of the BMW 7 Series. However, the probability to see it on a small novelty.

The Russian office has already published prices of the BMW X7. Status new will cost 5 830 000 roubles, the same amount estimated version of the xDrive30d. The most expensive would be BMW X7 M50d 7 490 000 rubles. And this is only basic! The first delivery is scheduled for March 2019.
