In Russia the model under the brand Renault will get only a couple of years

At the Frankfurt motor show presented many outstanding new products that will break many more records of speed and cost, but it is unlikely there will be a more important model for the Russian market than the Renault Duster. Rather, Dacia Duster in Western Europe, the crossover is sold under the Romanian brand.

The revolution did not happen: the new "Duster" is built on the same B0 platform, which was used in the previous generation car, as well as for many other low-cost models of Renault-Nissan. The manufacturer decided to save and familiar style, so that from some angles, to distinguish the new from the old Duster is not so easy. Definitely give the car the second generation only tail lights that have become almost square.

Changes to the interior of the popular SUV ended up more global: the company's designers re-painted virtually every element. However, the overall architecture of the interior remains the same, the location of key items are stored. Even multimedia system with touch screen, which appeared in the restyled 2014, have not been subjected to metamorphosis.

For buyers of Dacia Duster in Europe will be available diesel engines of 1.6 SCe capacity of 115 HP and the 1.2 TCe turbo (125 HP), the First of them can consume the liquefied gas. Also in the ranks will be 1.5-liter diesel dCi engine family, depending on version developing 90 or 110 HP. Customers will be asked to choose between front and all-wheel drive as well as mechanical and robotized transmission.

However, for our country Renault will probably still leave "atmosfernyi" and the traditional four-stage "automatic". But the Russians will have to wait: the process of localization of new products Dacia-Renault is usually stretched more than a year, so sales will begin no earlier than 2019.
