Since the release to market a new generation of "Gazelle" (so-called Next) several years have passed, but the GAS was in no hurry to present developed on the basis of "Sable". But at the forum "Week of national safety" in Kubinka "GAZ Group" has finally revealed the new version of all-wheel drive minibus.

Previously, Sobol did not differ from the same "Gazelles": Yes, they were shorter and higher (if we were talking about all-wheel drive version), but overall, the stylistic differences were observed. Now the car is made in a different style.

This solution will appeal not to everyone, but in the case of scrapes and minor accidents will be possible to solve the problem of less blood. While the optics is not unique: these lights are already used on the bus, "Next Vector".

the "Sobol Next" is the plug-in four-wheel drive, reduction gearing, locking differentials front and rear axles. Crosses the front axle installed in the past Sobol, replaced by constant velocity joints. Another difference from its predecessor will be increased from 2 760 to 3 185 mm wheelbase, which certainly have a positive impact on the spaciousness in the cabin.

For the minibus is expected to offer a choice of two engines: petrol UMP Evotech or Cummins ISF. Transmission can only be a five-speed manual. In the salon "Sable Next" has six seats.

According to the expectations of the plant, new generation all-wheel-drive Sable will cost 1.2–1.5 million rubles. But guessing is too early: presented is only a prototype, and the future of the project is not yet resolved.
