New made on the principle of the serial hybrid
Recently, Nissan introduced model Serena in sports performance Nismo. Now the Japanese have demonstrated a hybrid version of the minivan.
From a technical point of view, Nissan Serena e-Power will be close to appearing last year, the CD Note e-Power. This means that the car is driven by an electric motor from the Nissan LEAF, while on Board there is also a small internal combustion engine operating in a generator mode.
While the exact specifications of the novelty are not disclosed: the manufacturer is waiting for the opening of the motor show in Tokyo, which will take place in the coming days. Nissan Serena e-Power can get the motor as from a new "leaf" and the old. Depending on this, its capacity will be 109 or 150 HP.
In Note e Power set battery capacity of only 1.5 kWh it is likely that for Nissan Serena e-Power engineers have used another battery with a large reserve of energy. A hybrid version of the monocab can be distinguished by the front grille with a blue tint, a different alloy wheel designs and led tail lamps.
Sales of Nissan Serena e-Power in Japan will begin in the spring of 2018. About exporting to other countries is not reported.
