We all know that at the moment the Japanese are working on a new generation of the Nissan Juke. For the sake of truth we should clarify that on the roads even in camouflage it is not met. But the success of the model in the global market one way or another is pushing Nissan to "the continuation of history." Most importantly, what has been achieved by the Japanese is brand recognition.

Despite the global success, the US market showed negative sales dynamics "small SUV". And if Juke is the new generation becomes more and more capacious of its predecessor, the New Light still will not see it in dealerships of the brand. Someone can say that even if you manage to sell 1000 cars a year, to remove a model from the list not worth it. On the other hand, the costs of which Nissan is forced to compensate for the derivation of a new model for a particular market, can wipe out all the plans.

It happened with the Nissan Juke. Obtaining authorization certificates can be compared with the "seven circles of hell." You need to break a few cars to test passive safety features and much more, including the extension of the line of power units. Besides, when Nissan came to the U.S. market seven years ago with "SUV" In the segment, he actually became a monopolist in a given class. But today, the balance of forces on the map have changed and now the market offers about ten different models of subcompact "SUV" in the same price range with the Juke.

To all this year Nissan brought to the US market the European Qashqai, renaming it in a Rogue Sport. The car looks more modern and dynamic it is roomy for your class and is not much more expensive Juke. In order not to lose market share, Nissan is going to bring on US exchanges Kiks. The model presented last year in Brazil, built on a stretched platform of the cheaper models. This approach may have sense, especially if you change the name and carry out an elaborate marketing campaign. The most striking example of this approach is Ford EcoSport 2018 model year, built on the platform of the Fiesta before last (!) generation.

Nissan Kiks most likely will not get the 1.6-liter turbo and all-wheel drive, as the guys from Nissan will have to work hard in order to keep the car on the way out was worth the same amount or cheaper than the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport (aka ASX).
On the Russian market, no Kiks, no Juke is not sold. Apparently we don't really understand why to pay for a rather cramped and impractical the car the same amount of money as for the excellent Qashqai.
