Mitsubishi introduced a new generation of Delica

No better big than Mitsubishi Delica.

The Mitsubishi Delica is a cult car in some (mainly Eastern) regions of Russia. These are time-worn cars imported to the far East where they are appreciated for functionality, throughput, capacity and reliability. The car was based on the frame of the Mitsubishi Pajero, so combined the advantages of an SUV with the strengths of a minivan. The current version of the Delica D:5 is available since 2007, but in 2019 it will replace: the Japanese introduced a new model.

Despite the fact that since the release of the Delica D:5 it's been 11 years, presents version "Delica" is still hard to call a completely new generation. Rather, it is a deep renewal. It is based on the same platform, and it's not the frame of the SUV: more Delica D:5 moved to the passenger "truck" Mitsubishi GS, which is used in many models, including the Outlander crossover.

The body dimensions remained the same, only because of the new bumpers the length has increased by 10 mm to 4 800 mm. But Mitsubishi Delica received a fresh enterprise X-design. The front draws attention to a deliberately rough look of the grille and headlights (by the way, they became full-led). While the side and rear of the changes are not so much lights, too, have changed.

But the "Delica" has a completely new interior. The Japanese claim to use more expensive and quality materials. You can choose a car with cloth or leather trim. The engineers also worked on insulation.

Under the hood, installed new 2.3-liter diesel engine 4N14. Not to say that all the improvements have gone in his favor: power decreased from 148 to 145 horsepower, peak thrust increased from 360 to 380 N·m. But the car received a new eight-speed transmission.

On the arrival of the Mitsubishi Delica is possible and not to stammer: as before, this model will be sold only in Japan.
