Hybrid crossover has become more powerful and more efficient
Before the opening of the International motor show in Geneva, there is less time, and car companies are eager to share the products that will be represented there. Big premieres from Mitsubishi can not wait, however, the Japanese brand has significantly updated its hybrid crossover Outlander PHEV, which is a bestseller in the Old world.
Visually the car is almost not changed. Designers slightly adjust the individual elements of the bumpers and introduced a range of 18-inch two-tone rims. But the main metamorphosis are hidden inside.

The manufacturer claims a higher torque, more smooth operation and overall efficiency increase, but the exact specifications are not revealed yet.
Second, Japanese engineers have enhanced the rear of the motor by 10% generator: 10 %, battery capacity by 15 %, its maximum value by 10 %. Individually it or not record. For example, a lithium polymer battery are now able to store up to 13,8 kWh compared to the previous battery of 12 kWh, the progress is not so impressive. However, coupled with other improvements it should have a positive impact on the General perception of hybrid crossover.
Among other changes there are two new modes wheel drive transmission. If before the selector provides only the points NORMAL and the 4WD LOCK, but now in addition to him there were modes, SPORT and SNOW. The first of these should heighten the response to pressing the gas pedal, and the second perfect for a snowy or icy road sections.
