Deliveries to Europe will begin in December 2017

Japanese Mitsubishi Motors factory in the city of Okazaki started production of the new model Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, which debuted within the Geneva motor show this year. Delivery to Europe will begin in December 2017, the to other markets the model will arrive early next.

The car was created on the basis of a thoroughly modernized Outlander second generation and the size is just between these two models 4405x1805x1685 mm. the Wheelbase has not changed and is as in the case of Outlander, 2670 mm.

Engines will be offered two to choose from – either the petrol engine capacity of 1.5 liters with turbocharging and direct injection, developing 163 HP and as much as 250 Newton metres, or a turbo, power and torque which is still unknown.

It is expected that the petrol engine will be available with either a 6-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and the original 8-band a CVT.

About the turbo now there is no exact information – most likely, it will be a 2.2-liter engine capacity of 150 HP, which is installed now on the ASX, and in a couple of his "Woo" the usual 8-step "automatic".
