Mercedes-Benz has announced an updated S-Class in both coupe and convertible

It's been almost six months since the presentation of the flagship sedan Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Now turn the S-Class and Cabriolet version of the coupe. Major differences from the updated sedan is not, rather the coupe and convertible pulled equipment to the "chetyrehdverki".

And convertible, and the coupe received new bumpers and headlamps. The changes affected the rear lights – they got OLED-LEDs. Both models in the basic equipment will be equipped with similar optics.

On each of the lamps inside caused by 33 cells. Such elements can be easily adjusted brightness depending on light conditions. Despite the restyling, head optics in the new version compared to the sedan S-Class will be different.

For the initial version of the S-Class Coupe S450 prepared turbocharged 3.0 V6 engine with a capacity of 367 HP Next in the hierarchy is listed S560 with a V8 (469 HP), which will be equipped with both modifications. Motors work in tandem with the "automatic" 9G-Tronic. Two-door versions of the S-Class on all-wheel drive 4Matic. Modification S560 soft top – rear-wheel drive exclusively.

Coupe and convertible version Mercedes-AMG S63 equipped with a 4.0 V8 turbo engine capacity of 612 HP in the car all-wheel drive system 4Matic+. The power unit Mercedes-AMG S65 remained without changes – is a 6.0 V12 with a capacity of 630 HP and 7-speed automatic transmission with rear wheel drive.

The official premiere of the updated coupe and convertible S-Class will be held in the framework of the IAA’in Frankfurt, 2017 September 12.
