At the Frankfurt motor show was presented an extreme hypercar Mercedes-AMG Project ONE – the main intrigue from Mercedes-Benz. Car shown is one of the fastest road cars. In hypercar has installed a hybrid propulsion system, built on technologies of Formula 1. The hybrid hypercar with 1000 HP became a great gift for the anniversary of AMG. The car can accelerate to 350 km/h.

Mercedes-AMG Project ONE has four motor leads one turbocharger, a second integrated into the crankcase of the engine and two electric motors lead wheel of the front axle.

The volume of the petrol V6 engine is 1.6 l, it direct injection, four camshaft and air springs of the valves, as the bolide of Formula 1 Mercedes-AMG W06 Hybrid. The motors of the front axle is also unique for a road car – they can score 50 000 m^-1.

In the crankcase of the internal combustion engine, an electric motor with a capacity of 120 kW. The thermal efficiency formula of the engine more than 40% – previously unattainable value. According to estimates by engineers at Mercedes-AMG, up to 80% of the braking energy can be used for recovery.

Thanks to the two motors in the front hypercare is controlled by the thrust vector. In Project ONE is used all-wheel drive AMG Performance 4MATIC+. The petrol engine is paired with AMG Speedshift 8 RCP. The battery is installed in the bottom of the car and has its own cooling system.

The exterior of the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is materialized functionality. Rear keel and a well-developed air diffuser and huge air intakes designed to improve the cooling of the power plant. Project ONE monocoque made from carbon fiber. For braking are responsible ceramic brake discs. Front and rear suspension with push-rod racks.

For Project ONE are 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, "shod" in the tires Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 dimensions 285/35ZR19 and 335/30ZR20, respectively.

Mercedes-AMG Project ONE accelerates to 200 km/h in 6 seconds. While pure electric hypercar can drive 25 km. by the Representatives of Mercedes-AMG said that he would build a 275 instances of Project ONE, each costing € 2.7 million.
