It's been three years since the launch of the Lincoln MKC crossover in the United States. It's time for an update: the manufacturer has released pictures of the facelifted version.

The most obvious changes occurred at the front. The car has lost is divided into two parts front grille, characteristic of "Lincoln" the recent past. Now the front part is crowned by a single grill, made in the spirit of the latest novelties of the brand, including sedans, the MKZ and the Continental, as well as the flagship of the Navigator SUV, whose sales in the United States has not yet begun.


But when you look back the latest version of the Lincoln MKC is not so easy to distinguish from the previous one. The same can be said about the interior. The company promises to use high quality materials and offer the buyer several color combinations of the interior. But there is a new version of the infotainment system Sync 3
with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Lincoln Way app for smartphones allows you to remotely start the engine, superoute and unlock doors, to determine your current location and use the signature Concierge service.

Technical equipment was not changed. For the Lincoln MKC will continue to be available four-cylinder gasoline turbo engine capacity of 2 and 2.3 liters. Their capacity is 257 and 289 horsepower, respectively. By default, the crossover is equipped with front-wheel drive, the version with four wheels is offered for a fee.


The new version will go on sale in the summer of 2018. The Lincoln MKC is built on the same platform
that Ford Escape is in Russia and Europe known under the name Ford Kuga. According to the manufacturer, about half of buyers of the Lincoln MKC for the first time become customers of the brand. Thus, the strategy of Lincoln, aimed at attracting a new audience, pays for itself.
