Manufacturers of SUVs like to boast of the power and endurance of their machines. This is normally a simple exercise — towing any heavy pieces. Their roles are often large civilian aircraft, but Land Rover prefers to work with the railroad: the first such video was released in 1989. In this Discovery was able to move a few cars. For advertising the same model, but in 2017, the British used the train.

To a new "discovery" got a big truck that was pulling a seven trailers. The total mass of such goods amounted to 110 tons. In this case a Land Rover Discovery with a three-liter diesel engine with 258 horsepower and 600 N·m, 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, can tow a maximum of 3.5 tons. In any case, as stated in the instruction manual.

But the British SUV coped with much more impressive burden. The manufacturer claims that for a trick was used fully serial version, no modifications, with the technical equipment has been committed. However, the Land Rover Discovery can not just move 110-ton colossus from the scene, stretching for 100 meters, but towed it to 16 kilometers along the Australian highways. Moreover, the speed reached 44 km/h. And why would need huge trucks?
