The concept Subaru VIZIV Performance hinted at the next generation WRX STI

In 2016 debuted a new Subaru Impreza (to Russia it is not yet have gotten), but charged model Subaru WRX STI is still being produced on the basis of the old body. On the appearance of the next version hinted the concept Subaru VIZIV Performance, prepared for the Tokyo motor show.

As "hot" sedans in the WRX STI, the appearance of new items clearly alludes to her remarkable dynamic performance. The concept has received muscular wheel arches, raised bumper, four pipe exhaust system and brand "nostril" on the hood. And that's a huge wing here is no reason.

The technical characteristics of Subaru VIZIV only known Performance dimensions. Body length is 4,63 meters, which corresponds to the new four-door "Impreza". The power and other aspects are kept in secret. But the producer has promised to keep two fundamental gene WRX STI: boxer turbo engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive.

The release date of the next Subaru WRX STI is not yet reveals. This should happen in 2018-2019.
