The Japanese brand wants to offer a model that will rise above Lexus RX

The concept Lexus LF-1 Limitless is designed to demonstrate the possible appearance of the future flagship of the crossover brand. We are talking about the model, which would be situated above the popular Lexus RX.

New painted in the California Studio Calty Design Research. Designers compare the slanted shape of the Lexus LF-Limitless 1 with "molten metal forged in a beautiful Japanese sword". Body length is 5 014 mm, this parameter has a concept close to the long version of the crossover the Lexus RX L. However, the wheelbase is much longer — 2 974 2 mm against 790. To emphasise the athletic proportions of the Lexus LF-Limitless 1, the car was shod 22-inch alloy wheels.

But from the point of view of practicality to draw a parallel between the Lexus LF-1 Limitless and Lexus RX L will not work: if in the latter there are seven places in the latest concept there are only four. The back row consists of individual Seating, so that adaptation to the American family here and does not smell. At the same time, the serial version may be quite different.

On a technical stuffing of the future SUV there is no accurate information. The Japanese company said that the large SUV will be produced in a variety of options: diesel, hybrid, hydrogen and fully electric. Currently, no production model has such a wide range of powertrains.
