Company BMW is going to present the conceptual Z4 Roadster Concept at the Competition of elegance in California, but the pictures of the next concept has already been leaked online before the official show.

The front part of the BMW Z4 Concept stylistically connected with the concept car BMW 8 Series, which says a lot of words. New BMW will get the radiator grille, tilted forward, like a shark, a huge air intake, which stretches the entire width of the bumper and, unusual for BMW headlights, tapering to the rear.

Rear seats are on rails security – a tribute to the BMW Z4 of the previous version. The rear lights are thin as blades, and almost touch in the center of the stern of the vehicle. As one would expect from a concept, a rear diffuser made from CFRP.

Within the conceptual Roadster is equipped with a refined interior, although for the sake of truth it should be noted that a prototype of the successor of the BMW Z4 that comes to photospin differs from what we see in the photo.

The steering wheel in the upcoming Z4 2018, perhaps the best ever installed in a BMW, but the console has switches that previously "lit up" in the production models.

In earlier statements, the Bavarian company has confirmed that the production version of the Z4 2018 will have only two gasoline engine – 330i and 340i. But some media reports on the testing of the prototype said that it s20i with a 6-speed manual gearbox. No detailed technical specifications related to the successor of the Z4, not yet.

Serial BMW Z4 Roadster will appear in March 2018. By the way, Z4 2018 will share a platform with the reborn Toyota Supra.

BMW has long been engaged in sports roadsters, but after leaving BMW Z4 second generation all thought about the end of the era of the twin cars from the Bavarians. With the concept car BMW Z4 Concept back to its roots. And if the serial Roadster will maintain the elegance of the concept car, the German manufacturer will rise to a higher level.
