Last summer the company introduced the Fiat hatchback Argo was designed especially for the market of South America. There he replaced two models: the Punto and Palio. Now the manufacturer has announced the platform sedan Cronos.

The front of the model Cronos and Argo are clearly similar, although significant differences. In particular, the designers have changed the grille and front bumper. From a practical point of view it is important that the sedan got the stretched wheelbase.

In addition, Fiat Cronos will be different and a technical stuffing. It will not be available for the initial liter motor, and the atmospheric engines volume of 1.3 and 1.8 liters will be more powerful: their impact will be 109 and 139 horsepower, respectively. The Junior unit will be available paired with a five-speed manual or robotized transmission, and senior citizen you can choose "automatic".

A curious fact: despite the fact that Fiat Cronos and Argo is built on a single platform and are designed for the same key markets, releasing them will be on different plants.
If Argo is going to Brazil, then Cronos will produce in Argentina.

Sales of the new sedan will begin in the first quarter of 2018. The price tag is not yet known. It is expected that the Cronos will be more expensive hecta Argo, which in Brazil are asking a minimum
