A new compact crossover Chinese firm Landwind's design of the front is almost an exact clone of the Russian Lada Xray. The next crossover does not yet have its own name – factory designation E36, and he is likely to do with index x2.

Judging from published photographs, copy model clearly served as a new VAZ hatchback, branded as X-shaped radiator grille and front bumper are copied from it up to the last line. Even the headlights are very similar in form Xray optics. We must pay tribute to the Chinese, they are still "ashamed" to copy and back part of a body, having its own way. Most likely, this is done to avoid accusations of AVTOVAZ in outright plagiarism.

The interior of the novelty is also his own, no signs of direct copying, but also something very reminiscent. The crossover only has front-wheel drive, but equipped with multimedia system with touch screen, cruise control and sunroof with electric drive.

As a special "chip" that provides even leather upholstery. The rear seat backrest is folded in parts, like all modern "classmates", but the horizontal position is not.

While aware of equipment intended for the domestic Chinese market. In the line of power units in just two petrol engines– the naturally aspirated 1.6-liter 125 HP and turbo "lorry" issuing 156 HP

X2 officially will unveil at the Shanghai motor show, which will be held in the second half of this year. However, likely due to its highly non-trivial appearance on the Russian market, and indeed outside of China, the novelty in the near future will not fall.

The firm Landwind had previously been accused of shameless copying. Her "SUV" X7 represents almost an exact copy of Range Rover Evoque.
