Korean firm Kia introduced a new generation sedan Rio 2018 model year

Finally, we have waited for official information about the new generation Kia Rio in 2018. We have shown the car in two body styles – sedan and hatchback. Just to clarify that this Rio is designed exclusively for US market and Canada, as for Russia has a new Rio – with a different appearance and slightly different engines.
Pyatidverka does not surprised, because as has been reiterated hatchback for the European market, introduced in last year. All the attention was focused on the sedan, as it is not once caught in the camera lenses of the paparazzi heavily camouflaged.
Sedan added to the length, which now is 4384 mm (+15 mm) on the same has been extended and hatchback, reaching up to 4064 mm.
Elongated base has allowed to increase the volume of the internal space. Now Rio is one of the most spacious cars in its class – the passenger part of the cabin is a total of almost 2.5 m3. Thanks to these numbers the front passengers do not will work closely with the area of the legs, and the back will be spared from a stiffness in the shoulders than suffered the previous Rio.
The Luggage capacity of the sedan is almost 390 years, which is also good for the standards of the class.
As for equipment, there is also Rio not disappoint – media six-speakers and Bluetooth, satellite radio and rear view camera. In the basic equipment of the most expensive modifications EX offers a 7-inch touchscreen display, a voice recognition system and work with Auto AndroidTM and Apple CarPlayTM system, which other runabouts to find in database is almost impossible.
Standard equipment includes 6 airbags, stability system, assistance system start under the hill and, of course, ABS.
New "American" Kia Rio 2018 year will be powered by a 1.6-liter 130-horsepower GDI motor with direct injection. In pair of the internal combustion engine, like us –6-speed automatic transmission or MKP in choice.
In the structure of the body used more high-strength steel, which allowed to significantly increase the stiffness to torsion and to reduce the weight of the skeleton of the car. To reduce noise, vibration and the stiffness of joints, some body panels are additionally glued.
