Legendary Studio ItalDesign was founded in 1968, so this year it turns 50 years old. With a little stretch as much banging and the first prototype sports sedan the Nissan Skyline GT-R (it appeared in 1969). Two world-famous brand have decided to jointly celebrate the anniversaries and showed the world a unique sports car Nissan GT-R50.

In the heart of the model is the current version of the stock Nissan GT-R Nismo. Although its shape unmistakable in the appearance of the concept, the designers have thoroughly worked on the exterior: the body was completely changed. Work on the appearance of the Italian artists helped experts design Studio of Nissan in England and the United States.

Nissan GT-R50 was 94 mm longer, mm wider than the 97 and 54 mm below the original Nissan GT-R Nismo. Most strongly changed the feed machine: if suspended in the air lights not only symbolize the nozzles of rockets, but are a reference to earlier models of the Skyline.

The interior of the show car is also significantly redesigned. The Nissan GT-R50 surprising abundance of Alcantara and carbon fiber finishes and not even generously scattered throughout the interior gold-tone accents and a complete lack of touch interfaces. This will not meet!

In terms of technical stuffing Nissan GT-R50 far removed from the Nissan GT-R Nismo, however, there was required a modification. Thanks to the more efficient turbine and increased the intercoolers managed to increase returns with 600 horsepower and 637 N·m up to 720 horsepower and 780 N·m. Also under the hood settled new pistons, rods, crankshaft and camshafts.

Nissan GT-R50 is only a concept, so expect this car in the sale not worth it. Meanwhile, the stock Nissan GT-R has long been a survivor: its production began in far 2007. 11 years is too a long life for such a powerful car. However, in recent years, the Japanese company only a few times has updated its coupe, repeatedly postponing the announcement of the next generation. Who knows, maybe the next version will resemble a Nissan GT-R50.
