It is expected that the serial "electroguard" will be officially presented in late 2017 year and on the roads can be seen only in the second half of 2018.

Constructors with Albion decided that the first car on the electric range from them to be SUV's. But Jaguar – the Jaguar at all, because the dynamic characteristics of I-PACE will only surprise. The stated dynamics of dispersal up to 100 km/h should be 4 seconds in the same time, mileage on a single charge would be less than 500 km (on the NEDC cycle).

The electric car has Li-ion battery new generation capacity of 90 kWh, with the possibility of quick charging to 80% battery in less than a 90 minutes.

To achieve the above-described characteristics, the I-PACE with two light motors with total capacity of 400 HP and a torque of 700 nm. the Engines are mounted on front rear axle, because SUV can be described as a vehicle with permanent all-wheel drive.

Despite that is a "SUV" the drag coefficient is just 0.29, which is a very good result for a car with such dimensions.

Controllability and maneuverability of the machine will be on the highest level since almost all the mass is concentrated in the bottom is the battery, and the motors themselves by itself does not take up much space.

Understandably – I-PACE while the concept car, but not the production car, but according how about him guide Jaguar and what are the hoped for this project, we can assume that in 2018 we will see a standard electric car, not very different from today's concept car.
