Frankfurt Jaguar will bring the most unusual concept
Perhaps the most futuristic exhibit at the IAA in 2017 should be compact triple (!) prototype car of the future, called austere Future-Type. Exactly see the city electric car in 2040, the designers of the Jaguar.
According to the creators, the main element in this project is the steering wheel (or more precisely, the steering wheel control) with artificial intelligence, has received even own name – Sayer, named after the British who worked in the firm from 1951 to 1970, designer Malcolm Sayer, who drew in his time the first Jaguar E-Type.
It is assumed that the owner of an electric vehicle will always carry Sayer a, thereby replacing the usual smartphones, and to perform as stated in the press release, "hundreds of tasks". In General, a very controversial idea, no matter how clever the wonder wheel was not.
Another shock is the layout of the cabin. As already mentioned, the triple vehicle, and one of the passengers sitting right in front (!) the driver, and the third to the right (if someone does not understand, given the layout of the passengers), but since technically this thing is unmanned (the question - why did Sayer?), then we can sit in the passenger seat if necessary.
Neither the size nor capacity of the power plant is not reported, although some details will be revealed on September 12 at the dealership. However, there are serious doubts whether you can actually ride this machine...
