Brilliant! Why invent something new, if you can take the old, recreate it with new technology and voila – success is guaranteed. So did the British from Jaguar Land Rover, with a new-old Jaguar E-Type.

E-Type Reburn is not a replica – this is a full factory car, though pleased with the limited edition. Engineers have created a car with incredible precision, using all possible sources of bygone days. Dashboard, wheels, engine – all parts match the original. Moreover, the makers even type spot welding recreated the same as 60 years ago.

Authenticity authenticity, but safety is paramount. Therefore when designing the most important body parts were replaced by parts made with the use of modern technology.

Recall that the first E-Type was released in 1961 (Series 1) at the Geneva motor show and at the speed of light has won the hearts of motorists around the world. Easy, fast, powerful and, of course, a fancy car represented the height of technological progress of the global automotive industry. The engine capacity of 265 HP was able to overclock the E-Type up to 225 km/h and from start to 97 km/h took just 7 seconds! Let me remind you, this is 1961. 56 years ago the car in front and stood behind disk brakes.

E-Type repeats Reburn just the model of the first series. But for a fee the client can request the installation of parts that were typical for later – for example, the elements from the light version of the E-Type for enhanced cooling, manual with synchromesh on all gears or front brake calipers, as in Series 2.

Love for the classics is always expensive and revived Jaguar E-Type striking confirmation – the starting price of the Jaguar E-Type Reborn – 285 000 GBP. This price is for a brand new factory car, built according to the drawings of 60 years ago. Other manufacturers should think about this idea, I'm sure many wealthy motorists would support such an initiative. For example, the BMW 507 would be a great competitor to the British E-Type, and no less famous Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, made on the patterns of 58 years, perfectly complement the picture, giving some respite from all these "high technology" and "faceless electric cars of the future."
